Textured Nylon
Textured Nylon is lightweight, hardwearing and completely machine washable.
Nylon was invented and produced by Éleuthère Irénée du Pont, who first produced gunpowder and later cellulose-based paints. DuPont’s invention of nylon spanned a nine-year period from 1930 to its introduction at the World Fair exhibition in New York in 1939.
Blending nylon with other existing fibres or polymers such as cotton, polyester, and spandex led to the development of a wide array of blended fabrics. One of these fabrics being Textured Nylon; lightweight, hardwearing and completely machine washable this is ideal for many uses whilst keeping product prices affordable without compromising on quality, fashion and function.

The consumer’s dream of 20th-century men and women. A symbolic gesture of celebration; the first flag planted on the moon; costing $5.50, having a specially designed flagpole with a horizontal bar so that it would appear to fly; was made of nylon.
