The MET Downtown MIPS is a modern touring helmet.  Standing out for its versatility it is a great helmet for a weekend trek or the daily bicycle lane.

Thanks to its unmistakable MET fit, it delivers a very special kind of riding pleasure. The 360-degree head belt ensures there will be no pressure points on the skull and the overall lightweight doesn’t make its presence felt.

The internal air-channelling and a large number of vents make it as ventilated as a road helmet. The visor gives a dynamic MTB style to a classic and elegant design, being removable leaves you free to choose. A sporty look to be confident on the road.

Featuring the MIPS-C2 brain protection system, the Downtown is able to slide relative to the head in the case of a crash, redirecting damaging rotational motion. MIPS is engineered to add at least 10% extra safety to the standard construction of helmets in case of certain impacts. The MIPS brain protection system is attached inside the helmet, between the comfort padding and the EPS.
