It takes 4.5 hours from flat to charge the battery.

The handlebar-mounted Purion Display display delivers a range of information including a battery indicator, management of four power support modes including a walk-assist function (taking the bike up to 4mph), LED lights front and rear, a tripometer, and a speed indicator, all at your fingertips.

The Cargo Line motor gives you a maximum torque of 85Nm. This makes everyday transport more relaxed and ensures maximum riding enjoyment.  offers an almost completely noise-free experience and a higher level of pedal rate detection to improve cycling efficiency so you can get the maximum enjoyment out of your journeys. You can forget honking the horn when you’re stuck in traffic – instead, pedal the stress of rush hour away on the Stride.

With a large load capacity and cargo capacity of 80kg to transport the children, combined with all the efficiency of electrical assistance the Stride 2 is ready to help you take on your day.

Available in a 50cm low step frame style, with a comfortable upright riding position.

Integrated lights mean you can keep ‘cargoing’ in lower light and keep you and your precious cargo more visible in traffic. British weather won’t hold you back either, thanks to built-in mudguards. Enviolo Cargo Stepless shifting hub gears make changing gears a breeze.

Braking is covered by Magura hydraulic disc brakes, whilst 26″ rear wheel and 20″ front wheel make this model perfect for cruising into town and unlocking the freedom on the school run, even when it’s busy.

The bike frame is warranted for five years against cracking due to manufacturing defects.

Electrics such as motor and batteries are warranted for two years.

Non-wearable parts, such as the handlebar, saddle, or stem are warranted for 12 – 24 months.

The right is reserved to inspect the battery for signs of neglect, lack of use, misuse, or immersion in water.

Consumable items such as brake pads and tyres are not covered unless of faulty construction.

1 review for Raleigh Stride 2 E-Cargo bike – Low Step

  1. Alex

Two months in and I can happily say my Raleigh Stride-2 from e-spokes is both the the most fun and the most useful bike I have ever owned. This has been an absolute hit with my daughter who loves to ride on “Daddy’s car-go bike”, it’s a hit with all her friends too who like to join her for rides. For accessories I highly recommend the canopy cover for sheltering any passengers from sun and rain, ours almost never comes off the bike now.

The different turning circle to a regular bike does take a couple of rides to get fully used to, and some routes I normally take needed a little adjustment, but does not take very long at all. The carry capacity is unreal, I’ve done full garden centre shops compost shops (~150lt) and massive weekly shops, just drop the bags in the “bucket” and then getting home (uphill) is a breeze as I can just up the power to compensate for the extra weight I’m taking home. I’m pretty certain I’ve comfortably loaded the bike with as much as some do in a small hatchback. This bike is a solid car replacement for shopping, trips round town, children taxi, and picnics in the countryside and I heartily recommend giving it a go.

Trust me, you’ll have trouble not smiling while riding, this really is a fun and useful bike.
