Huntingford Route
Huntingford Route is a ride of approximately 12 miles up to about three hours and takes you through Huntingford, a tiny, rural hamlet, situated amongst glorious unspoilt countryside on the borders of Dorset and Wiltshire.
This route takes in some interesting sites, one being The Old Chapel which is a Victorian wooden chapel, dating back to 1867.
Your ride will take you through an undulating landscape comprising of meadows and vale, down Barrow Street whose name derives from the early Bronze Age bowl barrow at Barrow Farm whose farmhouse dates to the 17th century, past rustic farms specialising in free-range and the genuine organic. One such farm is Bush farm Bison Centre where when open you can book for a farm walk which takes you around the site past all the animals including Bison, Elk, Rhea, Guanaco, raccoons, and owls or why not stop for a Bison Burger! If you fancy a stop at a traditional pub the route also goes past The Walnut Tree Inn. Once visited by Prince Charles this quality family friendly pub and restaurant is in the beautiful Wiltshire town of Mere. It offers good value pub favourites all day every day as well as coeliac friendly dishes as many of the meals can be gluten free if required.

Price: Full day £55 per person, Half day £45 per person + £3 for a map of the route
Duration: Up to 8 hours
Panniers and baskets can be supplied for £3per day extra so you can carry all your goodies back with you.
If you would like one of our qualified experienced tour guides to take you roud there will be a charge of £100 in addition to the bike hire charges.
