The Westhill Venture electric bike Cross-bar is ideal for downhill or even the daily commute.
The Westhill Venture ebike is a high spec mountain electric bike.
The 250watt (65Nm) ultra-high torque Bafang hub motor assists up to 15.5mph (the maximum speed allowed by UK/EU regulation) meaning you can take on any challenge. Travelling further and sweating less.
Powered by a 36 volt 10.4 Ah removable integrated LG lithium-ion battery providing perfect weight distribution and unrivalled balance. This gives an impressive range of 35miles* per full charge. If this isn’t enough range you can always upgrade to the 14Ah battery.
The mountain bike frame contains the battery giving it a sleek and sporty appearance.
It takes four-six hours to charge the battery.
The control panel on the Venture is a large LCD display which allows you to control all aspects of the bike; from the five power-assist modes to the walk-assist function (taking the bike up to 4mph). Monitor your distance, both for the current trip and miles ridden overall. You can also see how many miles you have left on the battery and it comes with a handy USB port.
The Venture is a lightweight ebike getting you to the top of the hill faster without compromising performance.
SR Suntour XCR Air forks can be adjusted or even locked out for road cycling with less resistance creating a perfect urban commuter.
The ultra-high torque hub motor combined with Shimano Alivio 27 speed gears (9×3) means you will be able to travel further and experience more than you would on a regular bike.
Braking is covered by front and rear hydraulic disc brakes, whilst 27.5 x 2.1 Kenda tyres are great for braking and climbing.
The frame is warranted for three years.
Motor, battery, charger and controller are warranted for two years.
The right is reserved to inspect the battery for signs of neglect, lack of use, misuse or immersion in water.
Consumable items such as brake pads and tyres are not covered unless of faulty construction.
